Bright Calc

Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the Bright Calc mobile application and any related services operated by APEX LAND & TITLE LTD (collectively, the “Application”). In this policy, APEX LAND & TITLE LTD is referred to as the “Service Provider”.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The Application does not collect, log, or store personal information during ordinary installation or use. No account registration is required. If the Application is used while a device is connected to the internet, limited technical protocol data such as a temporary IP address may be transmitted solely to enable connectivity, but that information is not retained or used for tracking.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

No. The Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Because the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, no personal information is shared with third parties on that basis.

What are my opt-out rights?

Because the Application does not gather personal information in its standard operation, uninstalling the Application removes it from your device and ends normal use.

If you contact the Service Provider directly or voluntarily provide information by other means, you may request deletion of that information by contacting ewan6fletcher@gmail.com.

Children

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or any higher minimum age required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or direct marketing toward them. Since the Application does not collect personal information in normal use, children’s information is not exposed through ordinary use alone. If information is provided voluntarily outside the Application, parent or guardian consent may be required where permitted by law.

Security

Because the Application does not collect personal data in ordinary use, exposure risks are limited. Even so, no security measure is perfect, and the Service Provider applies reasonable safeguards to protect systems and any information that may be received through direct communications.

Data Breach Notification

Since the Application does not collect personal data during normal use, the likelihood of a breach involving in-app personal data is minimal. If a breach affects information that was voluntarily provided outside normal Application use, the Service Provider will respond and provide notice as required by applicable law.

Data Retention

The Service Provider does not centrally retain personal information from ordinary Application use because such information is not collected. If you voluntarily send information by email or another direct communication method, that information may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

Data Deletion

You may request deletion of information voluntarily provided outside normal Application use by contacting ewan6fletcher@gmail.com. The Service Provider will assess and process deletion requests in accordance with applicable law and legitimate operational requirements. Information stored locally on your own device can generally be removed by deleting the Application or clearing local app data through your device settings where available.

Changes

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, the updated policy will be posted together with a revised effective date. Where required by law, consent will be sought before material changes take effect.

Your Consent

If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider and processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out before the request was made.
